About Me

I am Emre, a self-taught full stack web developer who loves creating web pages ~ tools ~ apps for people's or businesses needs. Having fun solving problems by coding and increasing awareness of how technology can help humanity.

Education

I completed a Business Management Diploma at NZMA in 2015, which provided me with a solid foundation in business concepts and practices. I then pursued an interest in the field of Information Systems Management and graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business in 2017. This degree equipped me with a broad range of technical and managerial skills to develop and manage information systems in business organizations effectively.

Self-taught developer

After completing my university education, I developed an interest in coding and started learning it on my own. I began with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and later tried out JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue. I found Vue to my liking and soon switched to Nuxt, which is a meta framework of Vue. For the past four years, I have been using Nuxt for my projects and at work. I am familiar with Firebase DB and have experience with Mongo DB. By the time, I created an open source project Political Awareness Platform to practice my learnings.

My Passion, Motivation

I am highly motivated to continue learning and growing as a developer. I am currently exploring new technologies such as Nuxt 3, TailwindCSS and cyber security for a safer web. I am passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and make people's lives easier. In the future, I hope to work on projects that have a positive impact on society and contribute to making the world a better place.
